  1. I have known that we would be discussed something about which kinds of soft-machine we should familar with. That is like a physician who know how to requie a examination report from techinitian. If he has not know any of the medical machien in a hospital, how we can expect that physician to prescribe the report or result from technitian. Accountingly, we would be here to know some soft-machine (shortly statistical methods applied to the job). When you know some soft-machien in your hospital which can be obtained from your staff, why you miss the chance to ask them to offer that report to you. Furthermore, you know some skll from Taiwan, you could ask your staff(technitian) to learn that and then they can serve you ahd submit usefull report for you decision making. The skills are free-charged. After 3 months you return back, the soft-machine would remind you of telling your staff to study, changing their minds and finally encouraging them offer useful report to you. That is so-called management which is let others to serve you and attain your goals.

  2. In July 15, we talked about the skills of Case ranking, Percentage ranking, Z-score and power transformation, in which a new variable can be generated through many kinds of way to a variety of respective research purposes.
Especially, for the power transformation, we explored the real meaning of box hoc transformation at http://www.itl.nist.gov/div898/handbook/eda/section3/boxcoxno.htm.
The landa could be appropriately determinated by a click for an icon in the software to let the data to be more look alike standardized normal distribution(SND), by which the inferrence would be more accurate than the not look alike SND. That is why we pursue the landa (which is the higher relations with the SND data) to make inference more accurate and correct.

  3. In July 16, we talked about the useless function in TOOL of MedCalc statistical software for field in column changed and defined. Finally, the basic concept of summary discription for the researched variable was disclosed and introduced and recommended to further know them in the special statistical terms, which will be useful and helpful for us using evidend-based finding in researched and planning projects on jobs.

  4. In July 16, we also discussed about the Rasch model associted with Excle module developed by Mark Moulton at http://www.eddata.com/resources/publications/EDS_Rasch_Demo.xls, which is the material we discussed in this afternoon. The concept of Rasch model' detection on abnormal responses for any types of data set or construct could be applied to investigate the real resons while using outfit statistica yieled by Rasch analysis. Later on, we will have many chances to illustrater examples to interpreter them.

  5. The statistical material we learned in July 17 was regarding to Histogram (at page 58 of http://www.medcalc.be/download/medcalcmanual.pdf), Cumulative frequency distribution,Normal plot, Box-and-whisker plot,Correlation,Rank correlation,Scatter diagram and the Regression.
Scatter diagram & Regression line was performmed and excised. Multiple regression and Logistic regression were also practised and introduced, from which we could aim at propose an evidence-based and science-based plan for our jobs.
"As we ascend the hill, blazing rays from the sun would try to stop us in our paths, but a cool breeze would caress our cheeks, taking the sweat and tiredness away as they sing a melody of harmony to urge us on." The results will be harvested in future.
